Welcome to Sandblaster Chassis, "Your one stop buggy shop!" Sandblaster Chassis are built by VW Country. VW Country has been a family owned and run business for over 20 years. In 1985 Phil Dailey started VW Country as a VW parts and repair shop in Bakersfield California. After a few years running VW Country, Phil past away and son Mike Dailey took over the family business. Mike grew up around the sand dunes and always wanted to get into the Sandrail industry. He got his chance when his brother in law came to him with a store bought Sandrail chassis wanting him to finish the car for him. After successfully finishing the project car, Mike felt that he could build a much better Sandrail by involving his brother Brian in on the business. Brian has many years of experience building dirt late model race cars at RGR Racing. Mike and Brian teamed together to start the production of the first Sandblaster Chassis. Shortly after, their first order for a Sandrail came in and they have been building Sandrails ever since.

After many successful years building Sandrails, Sandblaster Chassis has a competitive advantage over many Sandrail companies out there. They limit the amount of cars they build each year so they can take their time to make sure they're producing the best cars on the market. The Sandblaster car is a specialty Sandrail with hours of engineering and design to make it the safest and best handling Sandrail in the dunes. Sandblaster Chassis is a member of Oceano Dunes, and ASA. In 2005 Sandblaster Chassis built a give-a-way car for Oceano Dunes to help fight to save the Oceano Dunes SVRA.
